Hi, I'm Zach
I've been writing code for around a decade. In particular, I enjoy working on projects that enable myself or others to create interesting visual results.
Having recently graduated from Clemson with a MS in Digital Production Arts, I'm currently on the hunt for a job where I can put my technical know-how to use. On this site, you can see some examples of personal projects I've worked on.
I'm currently in the process of revamping this website; if a page is incomplete, you see an error with the website, or you just want to know more about one of the projects, feel free to contact me and let me know/ask a question!

Volume Displacement with Arnold
Inspired by some art from Lee Grigs, I decided to try out the volume displacement feature in Arnold. The general idea is to convert a mesh into a volume, and then to displace the volume;

Microfacet Modeling and Approximation
Using PBRTv3, I explored generation of microfacet geometry and different rendering approximations for it.
